Job Description:

About the Role: The Investigator is responsible for probing into alleged violations of Flipkart’s code of ethics, policies, and procedures. Collaborating with departments such as Ethics, Legal, and HR, the Investigator ensures all investigations are fair and objective, adhering to applicable laws and regulations. Responsibilities include evidence collection, maintaining confidentiality, and preparing detailed investigation reports.

About the Team: The Ethics and Compliance team manages compliance matters and promotes ethical conduct within the organization. This team raises awareness about compliance programs, investigates ethical concerns, provides clarifications on the Code of Conduct and POSH policies, and conducts training programs to address potential ethical issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough and objective investigations of alleged violations of the organization’s code of ethics, policies, and procedures.
  • Gather and analyze evidence such as documents, emails, and witness statements.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality throughout the investigation process.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with HR, Legal, and Ethics departments to ensure fair handling of investigations.
  • Prepare detailed written reports on investigation findings.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations in all investigations.
  • Stay informed on relevant laws, regulations, and best practices in investigations.

Required Qualifications:

  • Chartered Accountant with 1-2 years of experience.
  • Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) credential is an added advantage.
  • Experience in investigations or related roles.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and report writing.
