About this opportunity:
As a Data Engineer at Ericsson, you’ll be integral in developing and delivering robust data solutions tailored to meet our business needs. Your role will involve crafting and optimizing data pipelines and models for data lakes and warehouses, focusing on specific microservices. You’ll oversee the entire data lifecycle, ensuring the integrity and quality of data from its ingress into the data lake or data warehouse.
What you will do:
- Develop, test, and enhance components of data solutions.
- Design detailed interfaces and integration specifications for data solutions.
- Propose implementation strategies, estimate effort requirements, and guide data pipeline creation.
- Conduct configuration, code walkthroughs, peer reviews, and unit testing of data solution components.
- Verify data solutions post-deployment and provide ongoing maintenance and support.
- Perform operational tasks such as data loading, batch job scheduling, and monitoring.
- Analyze incidents, identify corrections, and areas for improvement.
- Ensure data solution quality, conduct corrective actions, and devise improvement plans.
- Support software deployment and integration into target environments.
- Troubleshoot issues during testing phases and production.
Skills required:
- Proficiency in Data Lakes.
- Familiarity with Ericsson Operations Engine – Mode Of Operations.
- Experience in Software Deployment.
- Knowledge of User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Understanding of Business Data Requirements.
- Ability to work with Statistical Graphics.
- Proficiency in Design Specifications.
- Understanding of Data Quality principles.
- Experience in supporting Data Solution Roadmaps.
- Capability to maintain Data and Data Pipelines.
- Proficiency in Data Modeling.
- Experience in Software Testing methodologies.
- Ability to work with Requirements Specifications.
- Knowledge of ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library).
