Job Description:
As a Junior Engineer/Engineer-Customer Service at Emerson, you play a pivotal role in ensuring a seamless and positive experience for our customers. From managing inquiries to processing orders and addressing concerns, you’ll be at the forefront of delivering exceptional service. Here’s what you’ll be responsible for:
- Reviewing customer purchase orders to ensure alignment with Emerson’s terms and conditions and trade compliance policies.
- Preparing necessary documentation including order checklists, screening forms, and ensuring accuracy in order entry.
- Providing timely updates to customers on order status and proactively addressing any issues.
- Coordinating with internal teams and factories to expedite orders and meet service level goals.
- Managing order data and backlog to meet customer requirements.
- Facilitating drop shipments and preparing shipment documentation.
- Handling new customer applications and sales forecasts.
- Responding promptly to customer inquiries via phone and email.
- Acting as a liaison between internal and external stakeholders to resolve order-related issues.
- Communicating change orders effectively both internally and externally.
- Acquiring a deep understanding of Emerson Process Management products.
- Participating in continuous improvement initiatives.

- Familiarity with customer contract review and terms & conditions.
