Job Description
The Process Manager will utilize in-depth functional knowledge of process areas to provide effective solutions. This role involves identifying discrepancies, proposing optimal solutions, and using a logical, systematic methodology. The candidate must be proactive, self-directed, and open to team inputs, effectively leading and motivating groups toward company objectives. Responsibilities also include meeting internal and external customer needs, achieving customer satisfaction through process auditing, best practice implementation, and process improvements.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Conduct quality assurance evaluations to ensure client websites comply with WCAG 2.0 AA and ADA standards.
- Perform fully automated and manual audits of client sites to ensure compliance with WCAG 2.0 Level AA and ADA standards.
- Communicate and monitor implementation of corrective actions based on audit findings.
- Develop support procedures and training documentation, collaborating with web developers on WCAG compliant designs.
- Create and maintain standard templates for WCAG compliance testing.
- Develop and execute WCAG test plans and scenarios for new and existing products.
- Record and retest problems/defects identified during testing, communicating the status and results of testing.
- Create and maintain automated test scripts, ensuring ongoing WCAG compliance resources are updated.
Technical and Functional Skills:
- Bachelor’s Degree with 4+ years of experience in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Good understanding of WCAG 2.1 or local accessibility guidelines.
- Knowledge of WAI-ARIA and screen readers like JAWS.
- Familiarity with mobile screen readers and automated web-accessibility checking tools.
- Familiarity with browser-based accessibility-testing tools and knowledge of accessibility issues in technologies such as Flash and Java.
- Strong diagnostic, testing, problem-solving skills, and ability to manage and execute test cases to ensure appropriate system functionality coverage.
- Strong analytical, communication, and team skills.
