The Opportunity: As a Security Operations Center Analyst at ECI, you’ll play a crucial role in analyzing and responding to network security events. Your responsibilities will include proactive monitoring and response to emerging threats, conducting threat actor-based investigations, and providing essential support to incident response and monitoring functions.
What You Will Do:
- Proactively monitor and respond to known and emerging threats against the network.
- Conduct threat actor-based investigations using SIEM, EDR, and Email gateway technologies.
- Direct new detection methodologies and provide 1st level support for incident response.
- Investigate and triage events, differentiating between false positives and true intrusion attempts.
- Document and present findings on security incidents and investigations.
- Collaborate with the team to mitigate and counteract threats effectively.
Who You Are:
- You have 0-1 year of experience in the IT industry, preferably in a SOC environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/IT/Electronics Engineering, M.C.A., or equivalent.
- Certifications: CCNA, CEH, CHFI.
- Knowledgeable in SIEM, IDS/IPS, Firewall, VPN, EDR, AV, and other security products.
- Familiarity with TCP/IP network traffic and event log analysis.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Analytical mindset with problem-solving abilities.
