Role Description
The Sr Credit Manager is responsible for ensuring adherence to credit processes, making appropriate credit decisions, and staying updated on industry trends to support decision-making.

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct credit appraisals/underwriting of loan applications within defined guidelines, making decisions or recommending approvals to higher authorities.
- Be knowledgeable in multi retail loan products and policies, including HL, LAP, working capital, and business loans, both secured and unsecured.
- Evaluate and document risks and mitigants while processing proposals, ensuring quality and adherence to TAT.
- Understand property-related knowledge regarding legal title and market value.
- Complete vendor management activities, address open audit queries, and provide guidance and training to sales personnel and CPAs.
Skills and Experience
- Postgraduate degree/CA with 5-7 years of experience in underwriting banking retail secured loan portfolios.
- Basic knowledge of legal and property valuation in the location.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Adaptable and proactive in implementing technological changes in processes.
