Job Description:

As a PingID Engineer, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining the PingID authentication platform within our organization. With a minimum of 4 years of experience in PingID implementation and administration, you will play a critical role in ensuring secure and seamless access to our systems and applications.

Key Responsibilities:

Deployment & Configuration: Deploy and configure PingID authentication solutions according to organizational requirements.
Customization: Customize authentication workflows, policies, and user interfaces to align with security standards and user experience objectives.
Daily Operations: Manage day-to-day operations of the PingID platform, including user provisioning, authentication policy management, and system monitoring.
Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks such as software updates, patches, and performance tuning to ensure optimal system functionality.
Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams to integrate PingID with existing identity and access management (IAM) systems, single sign-on (SSO) solutions, and other enterprise applications.
Technical Support: Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to resolve authentication-related issues and ensure uninterrupted service availability.
Security Enforcement: Implement and enforce security best practices, standards, and regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA) related to authentication and access control.
Security Assessments: Conduct periodic security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and mitigate risks proactively.
Documentation: Create comprehensive documentation, guides, and knowledge base articles to facilitate the onboarding process for new users and administrators.
Training: Deliver training sessions and workshops to educate stakeholders on PingID functionality, best practices, and security protocols.
Industry Awareness: Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and new features in the PingID ecosystem.
Enhancements: Evaluate and recommend enhancements to existing authentication workflows, processes, and infrastructure to improve security posture and user experience.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Experience: 2+ years of hands-on experience in implementing, configuring, and administering PingID authentication solutions.
Knowledge: Good understanding of identity and access management principles, protocols (e.g., SAML, OAuth), and standards (e.g., OIDC).
Skills: Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python) for automation and customization tasks.
Problem-Solving: Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and perform root cause analysis.
Communication: Effective communication and collaboration skills to interact with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
