The Senior Cybersecurity Analyst position at Target Corporation in Bangalore, Karnataka, is a key role in Target’s Cyber Fusion Center (CFC), where you’ll be responsible for monitoring, detecting, and responding to cybersecurity threats across the company. Working in a dynamic, 24×7 environment, you’ll collaborate with other skilled analysts to manage security incidents, implement new procedures, and continuously improve Target’s cybersecurity defense mechanisms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Incident Response: Lead and respond to information security incidents, assess potential threats, and contain active compromises.
- Cybersecurity Monitoring: Analyze security events in real-time using SIEM and other monitoring tools.
- Collaboration: Work closely with Target’s Cyber Threat Intel team to stay updated on global threat landscapes and participate in Cyber Hunt activities.
- Training: Assist in training Cybersecurity Analysts and collaborate with the leadership team to improve incident response processes.
- Report Writing: Create detailed reports on incident investigations and provide insights for ongoing improvements.
Qualifications:
- 3-year degree or equivalent experience in Information Security or Data Privacy Consulting.
- 2-5 years of hands-on experience with Information Security Technologies, PCI-DSS Consulting, or Data Privacy Consulting.
- Relevant security certifications such as Security+, GCIA, GCIH, or CISSP.
- Strong understanding of network and security concepts, including operating systems, TCP/IP, and intrusion detection.
- Previous experience in a Security Operations Center (SOC) or using host/network-based security tools.
- Strong problem-solving skills, critical thinking, and ability to work in an ambiguous environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Work Environment:
This is a shift-based role following the 24×7 Sun Model. Applicants must be willing to work various shifts as required.
