Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science (B Sc)
  • Bachelor of Commerce (B Com)
  • Relevant Diploma Degrees (Computer Science, Electronics)
  • Bachelor of Engineering (BE)

Responsibilities:

Business / Customer:

  • Understand and articulate complex problems related to specific technology.
  • Provide business development support including assisting in RFP/RFI response drafting, presentations, collateral creation, and formulating recommendations.
  • Support presales and create marketing collateral such as case studies and capability decks.
  • Capture and present project capabilities to prospective clients, highlighting unique selling propositions of Cognizant solutions.
  • Interface with community networks to retain technology competitiveness.
  • Work with client teams to address escalations.
  • Implement change requests and engineering tasks.
  • Lead technical discussions in customer governance calls.
  • Interact with users, customers, and first-level management.

Project / Process:

  • Handle specific technologies within projects.
  • Contribute to High-Level Design (HLD), Low-Level Design (LLD), implementation, and test plans.
  • Participate in technical audits.
  • Identify opportunities for automation, standardization, and stabilization of environments.
  • Understand technical requirements and translate them into designs.
  • Lead TIP (Technology Improvement Program) initiatives and coordinate with Center of Excellence (CoE) for implementation.
  • Prepare/update/review runbooks, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and knowledge articles on specific technology areas.
  • Plan, prepare, and execute change processes and implementations, standardizing the change process.
  • Contribute to reducing Cost of Delivery (COD) through left shift, Continuous Service Improvement (CSI), and automation initiatives.
  • Prepare templates, checklists, and guidelines on due diligence, transitions, and knowledge transfer (KT).

People / Team:

  • Enable L1/L2 team members to enhance their skill sets.
  • Deliver technology training through Academy and/or within project groups for technologies/tools.
  • Participate in recruitment and act as a buddy to new hires.
  • Proactively support team building and onboarding efforts via mentoring contributions.
  • Contribute to knowledge management activities by creating case studies, technical artifacts, and reference architectures related to your technical domain.
