About the Role: As a Cloud Architect at Cognizant, you will be responsible for developing a well-informed cloud strategy and managing the adaptation process from on-premise to AWS Cloud. You will regularly evaluate cloud applications, provide suggestions for improvements and adoption based on use cases, and work closely with the IT Infra team to monitor cloud usage and advise on cost estimates. Additionally, you will respond to technical issues promptly, train employees and contractors on cloud applications, and identify top cloud architecture solutions to meet the strategic needs of the company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop a well-informed cloud strategy and manage the adaptation process from on-premise to AWS Cloud.
- Regularly evaluate cloud applications and provide suggestions for improvements and adoption based on use cases.
- Work closely with the IT Infra team to monitor cloud usage and advise on cost estimates.
- Respond to technical issues in a professional and timely manner.
- Train employees and contractors on cloud applications.
- Identify top cloud architecture solutions to meet the strategic needs of the company.
- Exposure to S3, NiFi, Spark, Athena, Aurora, Postgres, Glue, EMR.
