Qualification:

  • Required: Bachelor’s Degree in Business, IT, Engineering, or a relevant field.
  • Preferred: Advanced Degree in Business, with a Tier 1 MBA being strongly preferred.

Responsibilities:

Problem and Scope Definition:

  • Provide primary support for formulating problem statements and defining scope.
  • Identify root causes of issues and work with engagement management to define work scope.
  • Construct problem statements, including descriptions, affected parties, benefits, and implications.
  • Support risk identification and mitigation.

Requirements Gathering:

  • Demonstrate exceptional requirement gathering techniques.
  • Conduct and facilitate requirements sessions, and organize requirements into a user requirements document.
  • Write validated requirements and manage changes using appropriate tools.

Business Analysis:

  • Review and analyze documentation to understand organizational functions and capabilities.
  • Lead research to support developing comprehensive solutions.
  • Serve as a liaison between stakeholders and structure recommendations and supporting data.
  • Use business modeling techniques like business process modeling, process flow modeling, and data flow modeling.

Engagement Delivery:

  • Deliver exceptional support and manage project plans as needed.
  • Identify and manage engagement risks and develop high-quality deliverables.
  • Share perspectives based on experience and display strong communication skills.

Engagement Governance:

  • Develop governance and communication plans for smooth project delivery.
  • Provide frequent updates and effectively track/escalate project risks and issues.

Thought Leadership:

  • Research industry trends and contribute to developing innovative ideas.
  • Contribute to articles, whitepapers, and other consulting mindshare materials.

Business Development:

  • Support RFI/RFP responses and other business development opportunities.

Customer Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain trusted client relationships and be a go-to resource for future engagements.

Practice Development:

  • Support the design and build of new service offerings and gather industry best practices.

Revenue Management:

  • Achieve personal utilization targets by actively seeking new opportunities.

Knowledge Management:

  • Assist in creating client/practice-related materials for Cognizant’s knowledge management repository.

People Management:

  • Support recruitment for campus candidates, onboard and mentor junior associates, and be recognized as a leader among peers.
