Overview:
The Business Analytics Analyst is an entry-level professional role designed to apply specialized knowledge in monitoring, assessing, analyzing, and evaluating processes and data. This role is instrumental in identifying policy gaps, interpreting data, and making recommendations to improve business operations and decision-making processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Gather and analyze operational data from various cross-functional stakeholders to examine past business performance.
- Identify data patterns and trends to provide insights that enhance business decision-making in areas such as business planning, process improvement, and solution assessment.
- Recommend actions for future strategic business opportunities and improvements to operational policies.
- Engage in exploratory and confirmatory data analysis, as well as qualitative analysis.
- Translate data into consumer or customer behavioral insights to drive targeting and segmentation strategies.
- Clearly and effectively communicate findings to business partners and senior leaders.
- Continuously improve processes and strategies by exploring and evaluating new data sources, tools, and capabilities.
- Collaborate closely with internal and external business partners to build, implement, track, and improve decision strategies.
- Assess risk when making business decisions, ensuring compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations. Demonstrate sound ethical judgment in personal conduct and business practices, and manage control issues with transparency.
Qualifications:
- 0-2 years of relevant experience.
- Strong communication skills (both verbal and written) with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional partners and team members.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
