Job Purpose: Contribute to the development and deployment of Caterpillar’s cutting-edge digital applications.
Job Duties:
- Perform front-end programming and development tasks independently, tackling complex assignments.
- Collaborate on problem identification and resolution, including off-shift and weekend support.
- Work on complex systems under mentorship, focusing on delivering valuable features.
- Uphold software quality standards and foster team growth and improvement.
- Communicate effectively to direct development, debugging, and testing.
- Conduct integrated and customer acceptance testing meticulously for timely, quality results.
- Prioritize tasks, set work plans, and solve problems efficiently within guidelines.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent from an accredited institution.
- 3+ years of experience in designing and developing ReactJS software applications.
- 5+ years of overall software development experience.
Top Candidates will have experience in:
- UI architecture and product design.
- Implementing and testing specific modules/subsystems.
- Utilizing a range of development tools and languages.
- Applying analytical and problem-solving skills effectively.
- Remaining updated with the latest trends in web front-end development.
- Working in Agile/Scrum/Kanban environments and using AZDO.
Nice To Have:
- Experience in NEXT JS and Storybook.
- Deploying software using CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Azure DevOps, etc.
