Role Overview: As a Business Analyst, you will play a critical role in shaping the strategy for your team (pod). This includes defining and monitoring key metrics, collaborating with various functions to translate business problems into analytical tasks, and providing deep insights to influence decision-making. You will not just work with data but also contribute ideas to improve business metrics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and track critical metrics for the team.
- Collaborate with business and product teams to understand problems and convert them into analytical tasks.
- Generate insights through thorough analysis and present them to senior stakeholders.
- Contribute ideas for improving business outcomes and validate them using data.
- Act as the subject matter expert for analytics and data visualization, ensuring dashboards are user-friendly and informative.
Qualifications:
- 0.5 to 3 years of experience in analytics.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in SQL, Excel, and visualization tools like PowerBI, Tableau, or QlikView.
- Familiarity with data analysis languages (R, Python) and statistical concepts.
- Experience in building machine learning models is a plus.
- Strong communication skills, with an ability to tell the story behind the data.
