Job Description: As a member of our HR IT team, you will be responsible for handling and resolving 2nd level incidents/tickets in the Service Management Tool for HR applications, with a focus on SAP HCM (OM & PA). Key responsibilities include:

  • Investigating recurrence and patterns of support needs to design holistic solutions, collaborating with subject-matter experts when necessary.
  • Liaising with Global Application Support Specialists, IT developers, and other support teams to ensure timely resolution of issues.
  • Maintaining contact with vendors for issue resolution, SLA follow-up, and alignment.
  • Coordinating with 1st level support groups for consultation and best practices.
  • Preparing technical documentation, troubleshooting guides, and training materials as needed.
  • Supporting the onboarding of new team members and conducting training sessions.
  • Assisting in analysis, coordination, and release management activities, including testing and documentation.
  • Managing change requests in Jira, maintaining test data, and system cleaning activities.
  • Creating and managing application-related community content and documentation.
  • Driving continuous process improvement and collaborating with stakeholders on topics such as interfaces and data security.
  • Acquiring and building knowledge of dependent applications or systems.
  • Supporting ad-hoc activities and new work-packages as required.
  • Providing project support, including preparation for roll-out activities and change management.

Qualifications:

  • Two or more years of experience with SAP HCM (Module: OM & PA).
  • Logical, structured, and proactive approach to IT solutions.
  • Ability to work effectively in international virtual teams with strong (intercultural) communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented and persistent investigator.
  • Proficiency in English (C1 level), both written and spoken; knowledge of German is an asset.
