Job Description:
Role & Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, development, support, and maintenance of automated business intelligence products utilizing Tableau.
- Drive the rapid design, development, and implementation of reporting applications embedding KPI metrics and actionable insights into operational, tactical, and strategic activities across key business functions.
- Foster strong communication skills, ensuring successful collaboration with users and cross-functional tech teams.
- Identify business requirements, design processes leveraging and adapting business logic, and maintain regular communication with business stakeholders to ensure delivery aligns with business needs.
- Design, code, and review business intelligence projects developed in Tableau.
- Lead and collaborate within teams to implement BI solutions for our clients.
- Develop dashboards and data sources meeting and exceeding customer requirements.
- Collaborate with business information architects to understand business use cases supporting and fulfilling business and data strategy.
- Partner with Product Owners and cross-functional teams in a collaborative and agile environment.
- Provide expertise in best practices for data visualization and Tableau implementations.
- Collaborate with solution architects in RFI/RFP responses, solution design, customer presentations, demonstrations, POCs, etc., fostering growth opportunities.
Qualifications:
- 5-10 years of programming experience with a demonstrated proficiency in Tableau; Certifications in Tableau are highly preferred.
- Strong proficiency in SQL is essential.
- Ability to architect and scope complex projects effectively.
- Strong understanding of SQL and basic understanding of programming languages; experience with SAQL, SOQL, Python, or R is advantageous.
- Applied experience in Agile development processes (SCRUM).
- Proven ability to independently learn new technologies.
- Demonstrated initiative and capability to work independently with minimal direction.
- Exceptional presentation skills, capable of simplifying complex situations and ideas into compelling written and oral presentations.
- Quick learner with the ability to rapidly comprehend new areas, both functional and technical, and apply detailed and critical thinking to customer solutions.
Education:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or quantitative studies such as Statistics, Mathematics, Operation Research, Economics, and Advanced Analytics.
