About the Role:
Aladdin Wealth is a dynamic FinTech enterprise dedicated to leveraging Aladdin’s analytics, technology, and data to empower financial advisors in crafting superior portfolios and delivering enhanced outcomes to their clients. As a B2B enterprise SaaS provider, we generate direct revenues and operate as a unified entity across client engagement, product development, and engineering. Our team ethos prioritizes efficiency, innovation, and the rapid delivery of business value through technology and data-driven solutions.
We are currently expanding our engineering team and seeking ambitious individuals capable of swiftly mastering our codebase, contributing to unit testing, and collaborating with colleagues to address bugs and implement new features.
Roles/Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to conceptualize, design, and implement new software features.
- Engage in Agile ceremonies, aiding in the analysis and estimation of tasks alongside fellow developers.
- Contribute to architectural discussions, decisions, and documentation.
- Actively pursue opportunities for enhancing technical proficiency and skills.
- Manage core libraries and dependencies to ensure currency and security.
- Utilize Nx workspace for optimizing code sharing and reusability.
- Partner with technical teams to streamline CI build times and automate deployment processes.
- Design and implement scalable, performant solutions using React and TypeScript.
- Uphold code quality and maintainability through adherence to best practices and standards.
- Beyond engineering, cultivate a deep understanding of the business context to lead problem-solving and decision-making.
Basic Qualifications:
- BA/BS in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
- Hands-on experience in a commercial software engineering role.
- Proficiency in React, JavaScript, and Azure DevOps.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in architecting and deploying complex applications in production environments.
- Familiarity with strongly typed languages like TypeScript and working with RESTful APIs.
- Proficiency in Git, ADO, and Agile methodologies.
- Knowledge of Java or other JVM-based languages.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Exposure to the finance industry or understanding of financial products/markets.
