WHAT YOU’LL DO
Join the Survey Operations & Analytics (SOA) team at BCG as a Junior Data Analyst, where you’ll collaborate closely with BCG’s consulting teams to support client projects involving primary data collection and advanced analytics. Your responsibilities will span the entire market research lifecycle, from survey design to data analysis and visualization.
YOU’RE GOOD AT
- Market Research & Survey Management: Supporting BCG case teams with various stages of market research, including survey design, sampling, methodology, and questionnaire structure.
- Data Handling & Analysis: Ensuring quality review of online surveys, data validation, cleaning, and management using tools like SPSS, Sawtooth, Alteryx, and advanced Excel.
- Statistical Analysis: Applying statistical concepts (univariate, bivariate, multivariate methods) to derive insights from survey data.
- Data Visualization: Creating impactful visualizations using tools such as Tableau, PowerPoint, and Market Sight to effectively communicate analytical findings.
- Team Collaboration: Working with global, multicultural teams in a fast-paced environment, handling ambiguity and multitasking effectively.
YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Applied Statistics, Operational Research, Economics, Mathematics, or similar fields with strong academic achievement.
- Experience: 0-1 years of experience in market research and data analytics, with proficiency in tools like Excel, PowerPoint, and ideally, SPSS, R, Python, Alteryx, Tableau, SAS, Market Sight, VBA, and SQL.
- Skills: Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks and stakeholders independently.
- Communication: Effective written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to engage with senior stakeholders and present insights convincingly.
