Baker Hughes is seeking a talented Senior Site Reliability Engineer to join our team in India. This role focuses on building and supporting cloud infrastructure automation solutions aligned with the OFSE Digital Cloud strategy. The successful candidate will work on developing, improving, deploying, and supporting cloud services.

Key Responsibilities:

Implement Cloud DevOps development best practices and continue learning Cloud-native technologies.
Collaborate with Risk and Security teams to ensure secure and compliant Cloud services.
Monitor configuration management, platform layout, and hosting infrastructure.
Automate deployment processes for both applications and infrastructure.
Work both independently and in team environments to manage technical situations and customer relationships.
Provide technical support for enterprise-level systems.
Manage infrastructure using tools like Chef, Ansible, Terraform, GitHub CI/CD, and Kubernetes.
Participate in capacity planning, system performance monitoring, and resource utilization trending.
Coordinate with Cloud infrastructure partners on server, network, and database-related incidents and projects.
Deploy application upgrades and patches in production and test environments.
Troubleshoot application alerts, AWS/Azure policy issues, and perform root cause analysis (RCA).
Create tutorials, technical videos, and knowledge base articles for the community.
Handle complex customer problems that span multiple services.
Participate in a 24×7 on-call rotation and collaborate with global teams.
Mentor and provide guidance to team members.

Desired Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related STEM field.
7+ years of experience in cloud application support, preferably with AWS.
Hands-on experience setting up and configuring AWS applications.
Expertise in AWS infrastructure optimization.
Proficiency in enterprise system performance monitoring and capacity management.
2+ years of experience with public cloud technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, Prometheus, Grafana, Kibana).
Knowledge of RDBMS and NoSQL database technologies.
Experience with Change Management and Incident Management processes.
