BCN, an integral part of Expert Client Delivery (ECD), plays a crucial role by providing analytics and research solutions to Bain’s case teams globally, spanning various industries and domains.
Who You Will Work With: This position is based in BCN’s Gurgaon office and is pivotal within the Performance Improvement Centre of Expertise (PI CoE). The PI CoE supports case teams in India and globally with cost reduction/optimization activities, offering solutions in procurement, zero-based budgeting, supply chain optimization, and cost diagnostics. The CoE conducts advanced data analysis to generate critical insights and develops intellectual property valuable for performance improvement cases at Bain.
About You: You are a graduate (preferably with a degree in engineering, science, commerce, business, or economics) with 3-5 years of relevant experience or an MBA/Post-Graduate with exceptional academic records and 1-3 years of relevant experience. You possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with hands-on experience in data analysis, project management, and team management. Experience with analytical and reporting/visualization tools such as Alteryx, Tableau, PowerBI, and Llamasoft SCG is preferred, along with exposure to supply chain or operations-related work in consulting/industry. Effective communication, coaching, and mentoring skills are essential.
What You’ll Do: You will take ownership of projects and manage complex case deliverables related to performance improvement. Responsibilities include understanding client financial and supplier data, analyzing cost-saving levers/methods, performing research and analysis across industries and geographies, delivering client-ready documents with implementable solutions, and effectively communicating with stakeholders.
