Position Overview:

Join our dynamic platform team at Autodesk, where you’ll be immersed in cutting-edge Cloud services. As part of our esteemed Autodesk Platform Services (APS) team, you’ll play a pivotal role in crafting custom and pre-built applications, integrating innovative solutions, and harnessing the power of APIs to enhance our customers’ design experiences. This is your chance to contribute to the development of next-generation design apps, impacting millions of Autodesk users worldwide.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and test features/functions for applications and services.
  • Produce clean, secure, and maintainable code.
  • Ensure high availability and reliability of applications and services.
  • Engage in hands-on software development for scalable and extensible products.
  • Conduct code reviews and provide feedback for enhancements.
  • Automate processes and embrace new technologies.
  • Participate in on-call rotation to support production systems.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 2-5 years of software development experience.
  • Proficiency in object-oriented programming, data structures, and algorithms.
  • Strong programming skills in Javascript/Typescript/Node.js stack.
  • Experience with JavaScript frameworks and SDK development.
  • Hands-on experience with REST APIs.
  • Excellent debugging skills and problem-solving abilities.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Fluent in English (speaking, writing, and reading).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Java stack (Java8+, Spring, Spring Boot).
  • Familiarity with GraphQL.
  • Knowledge of database technologies (MySQL, MongoDB, SQLLite).
  • Experience with Docker and Kubernetes/ECS environments.
  • Proficiency in CI/CD processes and tools (Jenkins/Spinnaker, etc.).
  • Familiarity with logging and monitoring technologies (Splunk, New Relic, Datadog, etc.).
  • Understanding of non-functional testing (load, performance, resiliency).
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and Scrum framework.
