As an Associate Software Engineer, you will join the Data Science and Analytics team within Customer Support Services. Your primary responsibility will be writing code and building applications that enhance the efficiency of Support Engineers and related teams. This role emphasizes learning new tools and technologies, with a focus on developing data science and ML-driven solutions.
Responsibilities
- Build, Test, and Maintain Microservices: Contribute to the development of high-quality microservices.
- Collaborate with Senior Team Members: Learn from existing services and work on enhancing features under supervision.
- Variety of Tasks: Engage in feature enhancement, maintenance, innovation, and developing proof of concepts.
- Monitor System Performance: Ensure the technical performance of systems owned by your team.
Qualifications
- Education: Degree in computer science/engineering or equivalent experience in writing software applications.
- Programming Languages: Knowledge of Python, JavaScript, Java, or similar languages.
- Microservice Architecture: Understanding of microservices.
- SQL Proficiency: Ability to read and write SQL.
- Team Collaboration: Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a team environment.
- Continuous Learning: An appetite for learning and adapting to new challenges.
Preferred Skills
- Containers: Familiarity with Docker and Docker-compose.
- Frontend Development: Experience with React and TypeScript.
- Machine Learning UX: Understanding of applying machine learning to business problems.
