Key Responsibilities:
- Document subject matter expertise to advise Business Units (BUs)
- Support the compilation and dissemination of risk-related guidance and training materials
- Assist in integrating decentralized risk types into broader Operational Risk Management (ORM) policies
- Compile risk information, including emerging trends, best practices, and regulatory updates
- Research and gather topical risk knowledge to help BU process owners strengthen ORM considerations
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and AXP expectations
- Support execution of information security assessments for third parties
Required Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in operational risk management
- Strong project management, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Experience in process governance and understanding of critical operational risk management lifecycle activities
- Sound analytical and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Business, Risk Management, or a related field; advanced degrees (e.g., MBA, MSc) or certifications are advantageous
- Experience in supporting compliance with enterprise policies and programs pertaining to specific risk types
