As a Specialist in Quality Services (QS) at Amazon, you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our products across various domains including Devices, Retail, and AWS. Your main focus will be on manual testing, encompassing regression testing and evaluating new features/products. You’ll be empowered to develop domain expertise to influence and enhance regression test coverage for specific components or features of our products. Additionally, you’ll provide guidance to team members and actively contribute to creating knowledge-management documents.

KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Test and serve as the primary point of contact for one or more components or features.
Review test cases for assigned components, ensuring clarity and completeness, and recommending any necessary adjustments for improved test coverage.
Address team clarifications internally and ensure appropriate bugs are reported within your area of focus.
Represent the team’s bugs in triage meetings, providing comprehensive context and details as needed.
Conduct root cause analysis and provide data to managers for issue resolution and escalations within your scope.
Deliver training and knowledge management sessions within the team to enhance associates’ understanding of the product.
Evaluate Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), suggest enhancements, and collaborate with stakeholders and team members to implement effective solutions.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

Proficiency in the Software Testing Lifecycle (STLC).
Ability to work autonomously, establishing documentation processes when necessary.
Strong teamwork skills, including proactive issue identification and resolution.
