Description: Join the Competitor Monitoring Team (CMT) within Amazon’s Pricing organization, where we manage pricing for billions of items sold worldwide. As the Program Manager – Automation, you’ll lead a team of automation specialists overseeing end-to-end support operations for retail categories across various Amazon marketplaces. Your role will be pivotal in shaping business strategies, enhancing operational efficiency through automation, and fostering collaboration across global teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define and drive functional/business goals.
  • Foster a data-oriented culture and implement technology solutions for process improvement.
  • Manage stakeholder communication and build relationships with senior stakeholders in the Retail business.
  • Ensure quality standards in hiring and talent advancement.
  • Champion process automation to drive efficiency in operational tasks.

About the Team: The Competitor Monitoring Team (CMT) plays a critical role in enabling Amazon’s pricing strategy and operations. We provide timely and accurate competitive pricing inputs, influencing customer buying decisions and contributing to Amazon’s top-line growth and profitability.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of work experience with at least 1 year of people management experience.
  • Proficiency in quantitative decision-making and driving business metrics.
  • Strong collaborative management skills.
  • Experience in supporting systems using Java, SQL, and Python scripting.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree, Certification in process excellence (PMI, Lean, Six Sigma).
  • Exposure to technology teams and operational issue resolution using technology.
  • Willingness to work across shifts during peak periods.
