DESCRIPTION

The Supply Chain Analytics, Product, and Research (SHARP) team leads innovative projects across multiple countries (Brazil, Mexico, Australia, Middle East, South Africa, Turkey, Japan, and India) to support end-to-end supply chain optimizations and deliver the world’s most customer-centric experience. Our Placement charter focuses on placing inventory at the right place, in the right quantity, at the right time. To achieve this vision, we build analytical products to audit and improve systems responsible for inventory placement. We also develop statistical models (forecasting, classification, and recommendation) and simulation frameworks to support A/B testing and drive improvements within the supply chain.

Key Job Responsibilities

This is an analytical position that provides supply chain operations support. The role involves working with multiple business teams to develop and maintain ad hoc/regular business reports and provide relevant analytical support. We are looking for a customer-focused, detail-oriented, self-motivated, hands-on Business Analyst. The candidate will work closely with internal and external stakeholders on:

  1. BI products development and maintenance.
  2. Customer interaction and feature mapping.
  3. Ad-hoc analysis to investigate system decisions and metric impacts.

Location: Bangalore, KA, IND

Basic Qualifications

  1. Excellent skills in SQL, Tableau, Excel, Quicksight, or other data visualization products.
  2. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with good logical thinking.
  3. Basic understanding of at least one scripting language, e.g., Python.
  4. Excellent written English skills.
  5. Pursuing a bachelor’s degree or higher in a quantitative/technical field (e.g., Computer Science, Information Management System, Engineering, Statistics).

Preferred Qualifications

  1. Good experience with Python, R, or Linux/Unix for large data set processing and statistical modeling/ML.
  2. Experience with AWS services including S3, Redshift, and Apache Spark.
  3. Ability to handle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
