Role Overview:
As a Team Lead for our Delivery Center (DC), you will be responsible for overseeing shift operations and supporting the DC manager in performance management and execution of the operational plan. Your key responsibilities include:
- Delivery Process Management: Defining, building, and executing the delivery process from the delivery station to the customer’s address.
- Team Bandwidth Management: Ensuring that the territorial delivery team has enough bandwidth to manage peak time deliveries.
- Team Engagement: Closely engaging with the delivery team, including associates, to develop and maintain a highly motivated and performance-driven team.
- Continuous Improvement: Continuously improving the delivery process to achieve sustained delivery performance through process optimization and training enhancements. Initiating improvements to enhance quality standards, reduce waste, and eliminate unnecessary work.
A Day in the Life:
- Communication: Effectively communicating and explaining to individuals and the team what needs to be accomplished for the Delivery Center and Amazon to meet its objectives.
- Customer Service Focus: Developing the team’s understanding of Customer Experience and what customers actually need and expect.
- Ownership: Taking responsibility to ensure the delivery of changes, solutions, and services that fulfill the customer’s needs.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Proficiency in speaking, writing, and reading English fluently.
- Experience with Microsoft Office products and applications.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in logistics.
