Key Job Responsibilities

  • Troubleshooting, diagnosing, and fixing production software issues
  • Developing tools, automation, and monitoring solutions
  • Performing software maintenance and configuration
  • Implementing fixes for internally developed code (primarily in Java and Ruby on Rails)
  • Updating, tracking, and resolving technical challenges
  • Enhancing operational excellence and system readiness

Key Job Functions

  • Support incoming tickets with extensive troubleshooting for multiple products, features, and services
  • Work on operations and maintenance coding projects (Ruby, Rails, Java, Python, shell scripts, AWS, web technologies)
  • Provide software deployment support in staging and production environments
  • Develop tools to aid operations and maintenance
  • Report system and support status
  • Own one or more digital products or components
  • Handle customer notifications and workflow coordination to maintain service level agreements
  • Collaborate with the support team for issue hand-offs and knowledge base creation

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience troubleshooting and debugging technical systems
  • 3+ years of software development or technical support experience
  • Experience scripting in modern programming languages
  • Experience in agile/scrum or related collaborative workflow
  • Experience documenting findings and resolutions

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience analyzing and troubleshooting RESTful web API calls
  • Knowledge of distributed applications/enterprise applications
  • Knowledge of UNIX/Linux operating systems
