DESCRIPTION
The Quality Services (QS) organization at Amazon provides essential testing support for Devices, Retail, and AWS products. The primary focus of QS is on manual testing support. As an Associate in Quality Services, you will be responsible for performing manual test execution based on documented task instructions. Your role will involve producing accurate test results, meeting daily targets, and adhering to established processes.
Key Job Responsibilities
- Develop an understanding of the application test procedures and how to use the relevant software and tools.
- Execute test instructions accurately and report test results promptly.
- Report any deviations observed during the testing process.
- Stay updated on any changes to test instructions related to your assigned work.
- Follow defined processes to perform your assigned tasks efficiently.
Note: This position requires rotational shifts based on business requirements.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- A minimum of 3 years of work experience, with at least 1 year of experience in any form of testing.
- Experience in identifying and reporting deviations or bugs from quality standards.
- Proven ability to share knowledge gained with peers.
- Familiarity with using computers and software.
- Experience in using any gadgets or devices.
- Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Capability to follow defined processes and adhere to policies.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- A good understanding of software testing principles.
- Ability to complete assigned tasks accurately and promptly.
- A conceptual understanding of workflow processes.
