Description

The primary objective of the Security & Loss Prevention (SLP) coordinator is to ensure the protection of people and assets of Amazon’s Fulfillment Center (FC) in accordance with global security guidelines and policies. This role is cross-functional and requires deep collaboration and influencing ability with stakeholders from business and corporate functions. The SLP coordinator assists the Security Manager in day-to-day activities, planning, sourcing, and executing processes and procedures. Along with the security team, the SLP coordinator ensures and maintains high-quality and timely support to the organization’s operations.

Responsibilities

  1. Security Operations
  • Rationalization & review of guard force.
  • Profiling of guard force.
  • Implementation & follow-up of security plan.
  • Review of post site instructions.
  • Generating reports (daily, weekly, monthly, half-yearly, and annual).
  • Ensuring SLAs for all processes are met.
  • Ensuring all control room systems are functioning properly.
  • Patrolling observations, corrective actions, and follow-ups.
  • Monitoring daily vehicle movements.
  • Ensuring all posts are 4M & 5S compliant.
  1. Audits/Certifications
  • Keeping plans & SOPs updated.
  • Periodical check of documentation.
  • Preparation of documents for internal & external audits.
  • Follow-up on lights, hydrants, emergency exit doors, & access reader reports.
  • Reviewing manpower required at frisking points.
  • Maintaining systems installed at frisking areas and making improvements.
  • Conducting surprise checks and reporting.
  • Performing 5S audits of all frisking points and implementing suggested points.
  1. Process Improvement & Loss Prevention Program
  • Reviewing and improving processes.
  • Conducting quarterly assessments.
  • Generating loss prevention reports.
  • Gathering feedback from shop floors.
  • Following up and completing CAPAs.
  • Conducting loss prevention audits.
  1. Scrap Disposal Auditing
  • Reviewing and improving scrap disposal processes.
  • Monitoring vehicle in & out movements.
  • Conducting surprise checks and reporting on scrap yards.
  • Participating in cross-functional team audits.
  1. Security System
  • Ensuring 95% serviceability of all systems.
  • Providing 100% training for all security guards.
  • Controlling and reviewing access levels.
  • Reporting on hygiene status and operational effectiveness of security gadgets.
  • Scheduling preventive maintenance for all security gadgets and making improvements.
  • Holding monthly review meetings with AMC vendors and providing updates.
  • Managing new projects and completion reports.
  • Generating daily, weekly, and monthly reports.
  • Following up on daily defects.
  • Reporting and following up on near misses, suspected movements, and process violations in production.
  1. Loss Prevention Analysis
  • Working closely with the ICQA team to analyze all unreconciled ASINs.
  • Quickly completing investigations and submitting reports.
  • Conducting loss prevention audits and making recommendations.
  • Conducting surprise checks and submitting reports.
  • Following up and completing CAPAs in concern areas.
  1. Security Stores and Assets
  • Maintaining an updated assets list.
  • Scheduling maintenance for assets & security gadgets.

Basic Qualifications

  • Graduation with a minimum of 3 years of experience in security, loss prevention, shrinkage, asset protection, investigations, or inventory.
  • University degree level or equivalent through experience and professional certification.
  • A minimum of 3-5 years in law enforcement or a security-related profession.
  • Extensive and up-to-date knowledge of security equipment and technology.
  • Experience in managing or coordinating complex security investigations.
  • Knowledge of information security processes and systems.
  • Experience in security auditing.
  • Exposure to MNC culture and dynamics.

Preferred Qualifications
