Key Responsibilities

As an Operations Associate on the Compliance India Team, you will be a high-performing individual contributor responsible for end-to-end compliance operations management in various Amazon EU marketplaces. Your role will involve:

  • Organizing, planning, prioritizing, and scheduling work assignments.
  • Owning the production and quality KRAs for the team.
  • Serving as the first point of contact for Amazon’s compliance teams, confidently liaising with remote teams.
  • Managing queues, adhering to service level goals, and routing tasks through in-house technology.
  • Encountering a wide range of problem-solving situations, from strategic to real-time, requiring extensive use of data collection and analysis.
  • Ensuring the safety, security, and integrity of Amazon’s systems and data.

About the Team

The Compliance India team operates from Hyderabad, India, ensuring that our selling partners adhere to compliance rules and regulations in various Amazon marketplaces. Our customers include selling partners from regions such as Luxembourg, the UK, Romania, Spain, and India. Our goal is to help our selling partners remain compliant, add selection, and delight customers globally.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Fluency in English (spoken, written, and reading)
  • Experience with Microsoft Office products and applications
  • Proficiency in Excel
  • 1+ years of work experience in operations, with a background in quantitative decision-making, business/operations metrics, and tool/resource adoption
  • Strong analytical, mediation, and problem resolution skills
  • Demonstrated leadership with a bias towards action and a culture of ownership and learning
  • Experience in a collaborative management environment, with effective communication skills with both remote and local management teams

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s Degree/MBA, Certification in process excellence (PMI, Lean, Six Sigma), and advanced skills in Excel, SQL (Intermediate), Macros, Python, etc.
  • Experience working with technology teams and solving operational issues using technology
