Description: Amazon is seeking a talented and driven individual to join their Disability Leave Services (DLS) team. This team is dedicated to delivering top-notch leave of absence, disability, and accommodation services to Amazon employees and applicants globally. The DLS Pay Specialist role is crucial in ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll for employees on leave, resolving pay-related concerns, and maintaining high standards of service delivery.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a backup for payroll processing, using various software systems.
  • Handle tasks like performing top-ups, responding to pay review escalation emails, and conducting audits for employees on leave.
  • Adhere to established processes, ensuring quality standards are met.
  • Achieve Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • Provide guidance, assess risk, and escalate issues as needed.
  • Maintain accurate system records and ensure timely documentation.
  • Take ownership of query resolution and performance metrics.
  • Identify and highlight areas for process improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies.
  • Exhibit attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 1+ year of experience in human resources.
  • 1+ year of experience with Microsoft Office products and applications.
  • 1+ year of customer service experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, HR, or a related field, or high school equivalent with 1+ year of case management experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in human resources functions.
  • Knowledge of HRIS or Applicant Tracking Systems.
  • Experience with Payroll Systems and HRIS.
