Overview:
Amazon Last Mile DSP is seeking a talented Data Engineer to join their DSP Analytics team. The team’s mission is to enhance customer satisfaction by optimizing delivery operations through innovative products and services in the last mile space.
Responsibilities:
- Develop end-to-end engineering solutions supporting key business initiatives, particularly focused on driver safety.
- Utilize deep expertise in managing large datasets across various platforms (Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL, etc.).
- Design and implement robust data pipelines and ETL processes.
- Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver scalable data solutions.
- Implement new cloud architectures and migrate existing data pipelines as necessary.
- Use AWS technologies (Redshift, S3, Glue, EMR, etc.) and non-relational databases to support business analytics.
Basic Qualifications:
- 3+ years of data engineering experience.
- Experience with data analysis and interpretation using platforms like Redshift, Oracle, and NoSQL.
- Knowledge of distributed systems related to data storage and computing.
- Strong skills in data modeling, warehousing, and building ETL pipelines.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or similar.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Hands-on experience with AWS services (Redshift, S3, Glue, EMR, Kinesis, Lambda, IAM).
- Familiarity with non-relational databases (object storage, document or key-value stores, graph databases).
