Job Summary:
Are you a troubleshooting expert with a passion for cloud technologies? We are seeking a highly motivated Cloud Support Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will engage with sysadmins and DevOps engineers, providing top-notch support for OpenStack and Kubernetes environments. Your dedication to customer success, coupled with your expertise in cloud infrastructure, will drive excellence in service delivery.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor ticket queue and Observability Platform
- Independently troubleshoot L1 issues
- Maintain Knowledge Base/documentation
- Provide training and support
- Contribute to projects such as reporting, automation, and process development
Preferred Experience:
- 2-4 years of infrastructure support experience
- Proficiency in Kubernetes components, architecture, and data flow
- Strong automation skills
- Linux administration experience with knowledge of storage and networking
- Familiarity with virtualization and container technologies (e.g., OpenStack, Docker)
- Basic networking knowledge (TCP/UDP, DNS, DHCP, etc.)
- Proficiency in Python, bash, awk, or sed scripting
- Experience with public cloud platforms
Standout Candidates:
- Experience troubleshooting OpenStack and Openshift clusters
- Hands-on experience in production environments
- Knowledge of CNI, CSI, and CRI interfaces
- Understanding of OpenStack control flow and troubleshooting
- Expertise in OpenStack technologies (MySQL, OVS, RabbitMQ, etc.)
- Working knowledge of virtualization and infrastructure verticals
- Experience with distributed storage solutions (iSCSI, Ceph)
- Familiarity with databases and message brokers (MySQL, RabbitMQ)
- Proficiency in configuration management tools (Puppet, Chef, Ansible, etc.)
- Programming skills in Python, JavaScript
- Knowledge of KubeVirt is an advantage
