Job Description:
Airbus Customer Services has an exciting opportunity for a Technical Data Analyst to join the Operational Unit “Technical Data Support and Services”. This unit focuses on developing and delivering aircraft maintenance documentation to ensure the safe and efficient completion of maintenance operations by customers such as airlines, MRO, and lessors. The primary products include Aircraft Maintenance Manuals (AMM), Troubleshooting Manuals (TSM), and Illustrated Part Catalogues (IPC).
Responsibilities:
- Lead Technical Data Authoring activities for a portfolio of ATA chapters across Airframe, Systems, and Cabin perimeters.
- Write and maintain Technical Data Manuals (AMM/IPC/TSM) in accordance with specifications, quality standards, contractual commitments, and configuration management rules.
- Mentor junior team members and serve as a specialist for Technical Data topics.
- Innovate and drive process improvements in the technical data domain.
- Respond to customer inquiries and provide efficient support, particularly during high-pressure situations such as Aircraft on Ground (AOG) scenarios.
- Assess aircraft design inputs to detect impacts on technical documentation and provide customised documentation as per aircraft configuration changes.
- Collaborate closely with various stakeholders including customer services departments, design offices, airlines, and suppliers.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives for Technical Data processes, tools, and standardisation of working methods.
- Ensure compliance with EASA/FAA regulations and industry standards (e.g., EN9100) within the technical scope of responsibility.
- Provide continuous support to customers and users of maintenance and material deliverables.
- Manage subcontracted activities related to Technical Data & Services in accordance with relevant processes and standards.
- Monitor critical suppliers’ performance and implement improvement plans as necessary.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering (AME) or Aeronautical/other Engineering with exposure to Aircraft Maintenance domain.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the Technical Data domain.
- Basic knowledge of Aircraft and Aeronautics.
- Familiarity with aircraft Systems and maintenance procedures.
- Experience in Technical Data authoring (AMM, IPC, TSM) and Aircraft Configuration Management.
- Proficiency in Project Management.
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Proactive attitude with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Advanced level of English proficiency is mandatory.
