The Opportunity
As a Data Scientist within the Growth Org and Engagement organization, you will be an integral part of the data science and analytics team. You will drive insights that create engaging experiences for our B2B users using a range of analytical techniques. We are seeking a candidate with a passion for extracting impactful insights from large datasets through various analytics methods.
What You’ll Do
- Analytics for User Revenue Growth: Drive analytics for user revenue growth programs and A/B tests, analyze results, and communicate insights.
- Partner with Product Managers: Understand product/customer behavior and features, and make recommendations to improve customer experience and engagement.
- Data Stitching and Calibration: Expertly handle and integrate sparse and noisy data from various sources.
- Ad-Hoc Analysis: Support ad-hoc data and analysis needs to better understand customer behavior.
- Build Reporting Frameworks: Develop frameworks/resources that enable partners to self-serve information.
- Collaborate Across Teams: Work with teams including product analytics, Go-To-Market, and Campaign.
What You Need To Succeed
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s/Master’s/PhD in Computer Science, Analytics/Data Science, Statistics, or a related quantitative field.
- Proven Experience: Demonstrated success in a data science/analytics role.
- Hypothesis Testing and A/B Testing: Experienced in hypothesis testing and A/B test analytics.
- Data Handling Skills: Proficiency in working with large datasets using SQL/Spark SQL.
- Cloud Platform Experience: Hands-on experience with Cloud Platforms like Databricks, including creating DAGs and running data pipelines.
- Reporting Tools Expertise: Proficiency in Tableau and Power BI; experience with Adobe Analytics is a plus.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to integrate and QA multiple data sources effectively.
- Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Strong quantitative problem-solving abilities.
- Communication Skills: Excellent oral and written communication skills, capable of conveying business insights to stakeholders.
- Curiosity and Motivation: A curious mindset with a passion for learning new skills, tools, and techniques.
- Timezone Flexibility: Open to working across US timezones, especially PST.
