Responsibilities:

Data Collection & Management: Gather data from various sources such as databases, spreadsheets, surveys, and external datasets. Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of the data.
Data Preprocessing & Cleaning: Clean, preprocess, and transform raw data. Handle issues like missing data and outliers.
Data Analysis: Use statistical and analytical methods to extract insights. Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) to discover trends, patterns, and anomalies.
Data Modeling: Build and maintain predictive or descriptive models using techniques like regression, clustering, and machine learning algorithms.
Data Visualization: Create visualizations and dashboards to effectively communicate findings.
Communication: Present insights and recommendations to non-technical stakeholders through reports and presentations.
Data Quality & Governance: Monitor data quality and collaborate with data engineers and scientists to maintain data integrity.
Database Work: Work with SQL databases to query and manipulate data.
ETL Process Management: Maintain and improve existing ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) pipelines for accuracy, stability, and performance.
Industry Knowledge: Stay current with data analysis trends, tools, and techniques.

Qualifications:

Technical Skills:
- Experience in Python, R, Scala, Apache Spark, and Google BigQuery.
- Mandatory experience in Power BI and Google 360. Knowledge of Tableau, Excel VBA Macros, RSPSS, and SAS is a plus.
- Familiarity with classification algorithms (e.g., Random Forest, SVM, Boosting, Bagging) and clustering techniques.
Analytical Skills:
- Hands-on experience with Descriptive/Predictive/Prescriptive Analysis.
- Strong ability to analyze, organize, and present large amounts of data accurately.
Soft Skills:
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- A collaborative team player who can work across different departments and gather technical requirements.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, agile environment with tight deadlines.
Compliance: Awareness of data privacy laws and ethics such as DPDP (Data Protection Bill) and the IT Act 2000.
