Role Description
The Data Scientist will work within the VCA Data Science team, focusing on delivering data-driven solutions and strategies to Visa’s clients, particularly in the retail banking and credit card sectors. The role involves direct client interaction, requiring the individual to be embedded at the client’s office.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute and deliver data analytics projects to enhance credit card portfolio strategies.
- Utilize various data sources, including client data, Visa data, and third-party data.
- Advocate for analytics within partner organizations, sharing best practices and methodologies.
- Continuously explore new data sources, tools, and methodologies to improve analytics services.
- Manage communication with clients and stakeholders effectively.

Qualifications

- Proficiency in data analytics/programming tools such as SAS, Hadoop, R, SQL, Python, and Hive.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively and strategically.
- Excellent presentation and data storytelling skills, with proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint.
- Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple projects.
