ByJob Role and Responsibilities:
As a Data Engineer (Data Modeling), you will:
- Translate business needs into a data model by leveraging expertise in data modeling tools and techniques.
- Work with tools such as ERWin, Master Data Management (MDM), and ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes.
- Engage in both logical and physical data modeling to support business processes within various information systems.
- Collaborate closely with business stakeholders and users to define and analyze data requirements and create appropriate data models.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise:
- Proficiency in translating business needs into a comprehensive data model.
- Expertise in data modeling tools like ERWin, MDM, or ETL.
- Strong understanding of logical and physical data modeling techniques.
- Ability to work with stakeholders to gather and analyze data requirements.
Preferred Skills:
- Hands-on experience with data modeling tools.
- In-depth knowledge of the processes involved in data modeling, from requirements gathering to database implementation.
