The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) Ltd., a prominent Joint Venture between the Government of India and the Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi, is seeking a qualified Software Developer on a contractual basis. DMRC, known as the Lifeline of Delhi, operates a comprehensive rail-based Mass Rapid Transit System (MRTS) and is expanding its reach to cities like Mumbai and Patna, serving approximately 3 million passengers daily.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Age Limit: Not more than 35 years as of 01/08/2024
• Educational Qualification:
  • B.E./B. Tech (Computer Science/IT) or MCA with a minimum of 60% marks/equivalent CGPA from a recognized University/Institute.
• Technical Skills Required:
  • Advanced knowledge of C, C++
  • Proficiency in Linux OS, including Ubuntu
• Work Experience:
  • Minimum of 3 years in software development
  • Experience in Linux server operations, virtualization techniques (e.g., VMware), and database programming

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement software for the i-CBTC project, including designing, developing, and validating subsystems.

Terms of Engagement:

• Contract Duration: Initially for 3 years, extendable based on performance and mutual consent.
• Remuneration: ₹63,112 per month, inclusive of all benefits. Medical insurance to be managed by the employee.

Service Conditions:

• Leave and Holidays: Earned leave and casual leave as specified. No encashment of leave.
• Termination: Contractual engagement can be terminated with one month’s notice or equivalent remuneration.
