Position Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain the next generation of routing and switching equipment while supporting the current network infrastructure.
  • Perform core-level network troubleshooting and resolve complex issues within established timeframes.
  • Handle network operations ticket queues and inbound calls to the Network Operations Center (NOC).
  • Provide technical administration and analysis for network and hardware/software operations.
  • Work with vendors to address hardware and software issues.
  • Create Root Cause documents and collaborate with end-user support to implement network solutions.
  • Participate in internal training, enhance technical skills, and mentor other team members.

Required Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Experience:
    • Four or more years of relevant work experience.
    • Proficiency with Edge Network technologies, including Cisco Routers/Switches, SD-WAN, and White box Technology.
    • Experience with networking protocols (BGP, OSPF, HSRP, VLANs, STP) and packet capture tools (e.g., Sniffer, Wireshark).
    • Experience in troubleshooting transport circuits and supporting load balancer technologies.
  • Skills:
    • Strong analytical and communication skills.
    • Proficiency in troubleshooting.
    • Ability to learn new technologies and work in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Education: Master’s degree or five or more years of work experience.
  • Certifications:
    • Cisco CCNA, CCNP, CCSA, or SDN/NFV certification.
    • Aruba Networks certification (ACMA or ACMP).
  • Skills:
    • Strong understanding of Cisco platforms (ASR, ISR, Catalyst, Nexus, UCS).
    • Experience with White box, SD-WAN Technology.
    • Scripting ability in Python, Perl, or Linux shell.

Work Environment:

  • Schedule: 40 hours per week.
  • Work Setup: Hybrid (work-from-home and office).
