Role Overview:

This role focuses on Cloud and Data Security within BCG’s Secure Data Squad. As part of this team, you’ll work on security engineering, architecture, and automation to enhance the Secure Infrastructure Platform. Key areas include addressing cloud security misconfigurations, remediation, risk prevention, and driving automation efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with teams across application development, data protection, information security, and risk management to implement cloud security solutions.
• Develop proof of concepts and explore new security technologies.
• Monitor and analyze data from information protection systems to identify trends and security risks.
• Create and maintain service roadmaps related to data and cloud security.
• Manage BCG’s Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM) and Cloud Workload Protection (CWP) solutions.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum of 4+ years in cloud security or security engineering, with experience in large-scale global implementations.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer or information sciences, software engineering, or a related field is preferred.
• Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency with Prisma Cloud or similar tools, CSPM, and CWP across AWS, Azure, and GCP.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools like GitHub or Azure DevOps.
  • Knowledge of cloud-based solution architectures, CASB, and DLP services.
  • Experience with Active Directory, Data Classification, Log Management, and Information Rights Management.
• Soft Skills:
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Ability to work in a global Agile environment and manage competing priorities.

Desirable Skills:

• Experience in secrets management and certificate lifecycle management.
• Familiarity with both Windows and Apple Mac devices, and understanding of Linux/Unix.
• Experience with automation using Terraform, Python, PowerShell, or similar languages.
• Related cloud and security certifications (AWS, Azure, GCP, CISSP, CCSP, SABSA, ITIL, etc.).
