Job Purpose: The Director of Data & Decision Intelligence will lead fairlife’s ambition of building a best-in-class Data and Decision Intelligence (DDI) ecosystem.
Responsibilities:
- Service Delivery: Oversee daily service delivery for the analytics platform, focusing on performance, scalability, and resilience.
- Strategy & Roadmap: Develop and execute DDI strategies and roadmaps in alignment with fairlife’s goals.
- Data Visualization: Drive the data visualization strategy, including real-time manufacturing visuals.
- Planning & Communication: Coordinate with senior leadership and stakeholders to prioritize initiatives.
- Solution Design: Collaborate with DDI team members to support solution design and engineering.
- Quality & Transparency: Establish a culture of quality, transparency, and high customer service.
- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of developers, ensuring they reach their full potential.
- Standards & Best Practices: Partner with other groups to manage architectural and infrastructural standards and policies.
- Data Governance: Maintain data governance and quality standards for accurate and reliable reporting.
Skills/Qualifications:
- Experience: 8-10+ years in leadership or relevant roles, with technical expertise in data and analytics.
- Product Development: Strong aptitude for modern product development practices.
- Leadership: Experience leading technical engineering or product management, with a focus on data analytics and business intelligence.
- Self-Service Reporting: Experience building self-service reporting solutions using business intelligence or data visualization software.
- Technical Skills: Expertise in SQL, data warehousing solutions, and database modeling.
- Agile/Scrum: Demonstrated experience with Agile/Scrum methods.
- Communication: Strong verbal/written communication and data presentation skills.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ambiguity & Pace: Ability to handle ambiguity and work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
- Manufacturing: Work experience in or related to manufacturing.
