The team supports various aspects of the airline, including pricing, revenue management, fleet and network optimization, and more.
Responsibilities
- Collaborative Problem-Solving: Work with cross-functional teams to identify business opportunities and frame analytical problems.
- Advanced Modeling: Develop, validate, and deploy models using techniques like machine learning, deep learning, NLP, GenAI, LLMs.
- Data Acquisition and Preparation: Clean and transform data from diverse sources and perform exploratory data analysis.
- Deployment and Maintenance: Deploy models, collaborate with IT engineers for production integration, and maintain deployed models.
- Data Visualization and Reporting: Create dashboards and reports to communicate findings and recommendations.
- Thought Leadership and Advocacy: Lead workshops, develop tutorials, and promote data-driven decision-making.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
- Master’s/PhD degree or Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years of equivalent experience in a quantitative discipline (e.g., Computer Science, Data Science, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Operations Research, Engineering).
- Experience with at least one programming language (Python, R, Java).
- Practical experience with data extraction, cleaning, and analysis.
- Deep knowledge of statistical and machine learning techniques.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in designing, building, and deploying machine learning models.
- Expertise in cloud environments (Azure ML, Databricks) and production deployments.
- Hands-on experience with machine learning, deep learning, NLP, GenAI, recommender systems, A/B testing.
- Proficiency in SQL and data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI).
- Prior experience in consulting roles and managing client relationships.
- Domain knowledge in the airline industry or related fields.
Skills and Certifications
- Logical analysis, problem identification, and problem-solving aptitude.
- Ability to use feature engineering techniques effectively.
- Excellent communication skills with technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to work on a diverse team.
