About the Role
At Flipkart, the design team works across various categories including Mobiles, Fashion, Beauty, Fintech, Electronics, Grocery, Flipkart Plus, Travel, Videos, and Hyperlocal. Designers have the opportunity to understand and influence customer buying behavior through tailored design solutions, whether for seasonal stores, category landing pages, or homepage revamps.
About the Team
The team is made up of designers and copywriters at various experience levels who collaborate to address user pain points and journeys through design and copy. Each member is allocated to specific categories, referred to as pods.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Design team and copywriters to strategize and understand the metrics behind each asset.
- Contribute to unifying the overall Flipkart experience.
- Help establish design systems for the teams.
Requirements
- Exceptional storytelling skills with Adobe Photoshop, Adobe XD, Illustrator, and Figma.
- Experience in creating and optimizing web graphics.
- Strong self-motivation and drive.
- Empathy and advocacy for users.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to independently manage deadlines and stakeholders.
- Strong presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Positive, collaborative attitude.
- Desire to learn and stay updated with retailing and e-commerce trends.
