About the Role & Team
Urban Company is on a mission to accelerate growth to 10x. This translates to managing 10 million services monthly, with peak days reaching up to 500,000 services, and supporting a highly trained base of 200,000 service professionals. Our approach is Tech First, aiming for a state where zero people are required for operational processes, which are made autonomous through code. Technology will be integrated into every decision-making process, fostering innovation and scalability.

Responsibilities
- Address complex architectural challenges.
- Develop abstractions, systems, and services, and write high-quality code.
- Identify and solve potential system/architecture loopholes in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Build robust platforms to support all service categories and flows, addressing scalability.
- Develop internally built services to meet the growing needs of the company.
Requirements
- Experience: 0-2 years in the industry, with a graduate/post-graduate degree from top-tier universities.
- Skills:
- Strong problem-solving and ownership capabilities.
- Experience with backend frameworks.
- Demonstrated design sensibilities.
- Ability to build scalable, sustainable, reliable, and secure products.
- Experience with server-side architecture, APIs, databases, infrastructure, and systems.
- Capacity to introduce new practices and architectural choices.
- Ability to own the technical roadmap for systems/components.
