About the Team:
Join a team aiming to build financial services as a standalone business for Meesho, similar to Ant Financial for Alibaba. The team collaborates with various departments like product, finance, data science, analytics, and external partners, focusing on financial inclusion in India.
About the Role:
You will help scale and build new credit products for SMEs associated with Meesho. This role involves managing growth initiatives, partnership management, bold experimentation, continuous problem discovery, and process improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive Growth: Manage initiatives to grow the SME lending portfolio.
- Partnership Management: Work with lender partners to manage product P&L.
- Bold Experimentation: Implement innovative ideas with urgency.
- Continuous Problem Discovery: Drive continuous improvement with a problem-first mindset.
- Process Development: Build and improve processes for efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 3-5 years in startups or strategy consulting.
- Skills:
- Independent problem-solving and impact-driving ability.
- First principles-based critical thinking.
- Data-led approach to problem-solving.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a VUCA (volatile, uncertain, complex, and ambiguous) environment.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and data visualization.
- Preferred: Experience in financial services (not mandatory).
