Role Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with business, product/tech owners, and operation leaders to understand and manage long-term initiatives
- Create and maintain a product backlog
- Execute the SDLC for top-level technical initiatives
- Partner with architects to drive technical solutions
- Identify, assess, and mitigate risks while managing tradeoffs
- Communicate vision, plans, and status to leadership and stakeholders
- Engage with other teams to build relationships and leverage existing technologies
- Drive strategy setting and review exercises, including OKR finalization and reviews
Desirable Skills:
- Experience with B2C commerce
About the Role
As a Senior Technical Program Manager, you will partner with Flipkart’s engineering leadership to ensure timely delivery of technology-heavy themes. Responsibilities include ensuring system resiliency, scalability, fault tolerance, security, compliance, and risk management. You will manage strategic programs such as data center migrations, application upgrades, platform stability, and business continuity planning.

About the Team
The Technical Program Management team drives large, complex, multi-phased technical initiatives that deliver product, tech, and business capabilities. This team plays a critical role in program initiation, defining structures, and building plans to lead cross-functional teams towards strategic objectives.
Qualifications
- Strong understanding of datacenter technology and migration planning, cloud migration strategies, mobile app development, user experience design, and e-commerce funnels
- Technical background with experience in Java/J2EE and system design
- Ability to operate in a fast-changing environment
- Proven history of delivering large-scale projects end-to-end
- Experience with Agile methodology
- Ability to use data and metrics to drive decisions
