Job Description:

HSBC is looking for an experienced professional to join their team as a Lead Consultant Specialist. This role offers an opportunity to stand out in your career and explore new directions within one of the largest banking and financial services organizations in the world.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as ITSO for all billing applications (TBMS & ORMB) with deep knowledge of ITSO responsibilities.
  • Lead and represent IT at Incident Management Community of Practice meetings and other Service Management and Enterprise Technology meetings.
  • Coordinate technology teams/pods in managing incidents and problems, analyzing incidents to identify root cause trends, and devising action plans to prevent incident re-occurrence.
  • Ensure all prod incidents raised to L3 are addressed within required SLAs.
  • Lead and oversee software testing for Billing, identifying opportunities to improve delivery and reduce risk.
  • Conduct performance and load testing to ensure stability and reliability.
  • Identify the most appropriate technology solutions and liaise with engineers, architects, and business stakeholders to achieve a 0 defect goal.
  • Manage reporting of progress, issues, dependencies, and risks to committees, making recommendations to influence decision-making.

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in TBMSF & ORMB modules, configurations, and functionalities.
  • Deep knowledge in Revenue management and billing business area.
  • Extensive incident management experience coupled with test management responsibilities.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to analyze requirements in detail and identify gaps.
  • Strong experience in test preparation and execution, reviewing test plans, strategies, and managing test execution.
  • Expertise in defect lifecycle management, including triage, prioritization, and tracking of defects.
  • Ensuring non-functional requirements for technology and service infrastructure are met.
  • Familiarity with performance and load testing to ensure system stability and reliability.
  • Experience in creating and circulating status reporting and dashboards, with knowledge of Jira, Confluence, Agile methodologies, Sprint, Story Points, and Task Estimations.
