Work Location: Nationwide (Remote)

Role Overview: The Senior Business Intelligence Engineer will tackle complex business issues using data to provide insights to decision-makers. This role is part of the Pharmacy Analytics and Consulting Financial Analytics team and will involve designing and maintaining Power BI data visualizations, using SAS/SQL for data analysis, and communicating findings to leadership.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, build, and maintain Power BI data visualization standards.
  • Utilize data warehouse, BI architecture, data science, and visualization tools.
  • Analyze pharmacy data using SAS/SQL to answer leadership questions.
  • Communicate insights to a broad range of audiences, including leadership.
  • Perform actual to expected analyses and explain variance drivers to leadership.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of technical experience in data analysis OR Master’s degree and 3+ years of experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Experience with big and complex data sets within large organizations.
  • Experience creating data visualizations using Power BI.
  • Proficiency in understanding Healthcare related data.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Passionate about improving consumer experiences.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced Degree in Mathematics, Economics, Finance, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Advanced in SQL, SAS, and other data systems.
  • Experience with DAX/M languages in Power BI.
  • Expertise in data mining, forecasting, simulation, and predictive modeling.
  • Experience in creating analytics solutions for various healthcare sectors.

Work Hours:

  • 40 hours per week

Compensation:

  • $78,800 – $108,500 per year
  • Eligible for a bonus incentive plan based on performance.
